MESSAGE
Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University (SGGSWU) has been established in 2008 with an aim to craft an internationally recognized institution to foster a global learning environment at a pious place of Fatehgarh Sahib in the Punjab state. In the short span of 16 years, SGGSWU is heading towards achieving finesse on academic and non-academic horizons through consistent hard work and commitment. I strongly believe it to be my honour to serve as the Registrar of the University which is embedded with humanitarian mission to inspire the youth to accomplish brilliance in their selective fields.
The university pursues to develop talent, enhance research and professional capacity, and offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in diverse fields such as Basic and Applied Sciences, Commerce and Management, Education, Engineering, Humanities, Languages, Law, Music, Physical Education, Physiotherapy, Religious Studies etc. The curricula of all these courses are designed to encourage interdisciplinary approach and also to develop insatiable quest for knowledge. Our pedagogical methods are creative, critical and research oriented.
With a far-sighted leadership of the top administration, best practices in teaching by highly qualified and experienced faculty members, supportive staff, state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities (laboratories, hostels, playground and library) and inspiring students would lead this University to a coveted and recognized position in the higher education, globally. Besides imparting learning skills and personality development; special emphasis has been given to inculcate moral values embodied in our Holy Scriptures. The students have excelled in academics, sports, literary and cultural activities. Our students have found very good placements in reputed public and private sector companies. Throughout the year, our Training and Placement Cell organizes many job fares at which reputed employers are invited. SGGSWU is making intensive efforts to launch more society oriented and social outreach programmes.
