University School of Law
The University School of Law is duly recognized by the Bar Council of India and aims at imparting quality legal education. The students are sensitized to identify the problems of society and ensure social and economic justice through rule of law, and to eradicate injustice and poverty from the society. An increased stress is given on practical education by involving the learners in moot court exercises and frequent visits to courts in action. A legal aid clinic has been set up at the School where a professional lawyer deputed by the District Legal Services Authority provides legal consultation to needy persons. The teachers and students of the School are actively involved in the legal aid work. The School has a state-of-the-art Moot Court Room and a well-equipped library. Apart from practicing law in courts, the students graduating from the School can opt for a career in judiciary, civil services and multinational companies.
